Terms and Conditions

Winners must be international students with a valid student permit or visa, currently enrolled in a New Zealand educational institution

Winners must be physically located in New Zealand

Winners will be selected by a random draw on March 27, 2009. Entries must be posted on the “Study in New Zealand” group on Facebook prior to noon on that date (New Zealand Time)

Winners will be notified via Facebook messages. They will be required to provide a postal address within New Zealand for delivery of their prizes. Failure to provide an address within 10 days of notification will result in forfeiture of the prize. The prize will then be offered to another entrant

Entries can only be made via the “Study in New Zealand” group page on Facebook. No entries sent by other means will be accepted. All entries must be complete to be valid.

Only one entry per person is permitted.

Prize is not transferable, exchangeable and may not be redeemed for cash. Only the person who entered the contest can claim the prize.

Education New Zealand may replace some items in the prize with similar items if they are unable to obtain the items listed. The overall value of the prize will not be substantially altered.

The contest is not open to employees of Education New Zealand, or their immediate families.

By participating, all winners grant Education New Zealand exclusive permission to use their names, nationalities and educational information for promotional purposes, and waive any claims to royalty, right or remuneration for such use.

The winners acknowledge that Education New Zealand accepts no responsibility or liability for any harm, damage or illness or injury, which may occur as a result of the winners winning the prize, and the winner accepts and uses the prize at his or her own risk.

The winners acknowledge that Education New Zealand accepts no responsibility or liability for any prizes being sent to an incorrect postal addresses. Education New Zealand will use the address supplied by the prize winner.
