Day 10

It was off bright and early to Waikato University where the students had some very interesting presentations.

Then it was off to Waikato University's Large Scale Lab where the students had a chance to see the 'Ultracommuter' a car that has been developed to run on alternative fuels. They also got to hear first hand some of the challenges that the designers faced when designing the car.

After a trip to the Computer Science Labs, the students took a stroll across the Waikato campus and took in some of the breath-taking views as they had lunch at the Concert Chamber Foyer of the School of Performing and Fine Arts. They also had a chance to mingle and mix with some of the current Chinese students studying at Waikato University.

The Next stop was a visit to the spectacular Waitomo Caves. The students visited the Ruakuri Cave system and got to the underwater rivers and experience absolute darkness 70M underground. And of course they got to see the world famous Glow-Worms.

Then it was dinner and relaxing to prepare for day 11.
