New Zealand Through My Eyes Tour - Day 8

Follow the winners of the Chinese Student Blog competition as they tour New Zealand
Day 8

Day 8 started with a walk up an down Baldwin Street (the steepest street in the world)

Then they were greeted by the sounds of the bagpipes as they arrived at Otago University.

Next came a tour of Otago University including visits to the Student Radio Station 'Radio 1', The award winning Library, The campuses oldest lecture hall (where an Ecology lecture was taking place at the time), Geology museum and Unicol (where over 500 students live).


After lunch with the Pro Vice Chancellor of Otago University, it was off up the Otago Peninsular to visit Weller's Rock where the students got to see Albatross, baby albatross, the rare Stuart Island Shag, Seals and the very cute baby Fur Seals.

Then it was another flight, this time back to Christchurch for a little taste of home, dinner at a Chinese restaurant.
