Long Bay College is a highly regarded co-educational secondary school with 1650 boys and girls. The College offers high quality academic programmes where international students can benefit from being taught by highly trained and experienced teachers in a friendly, safe and caring environment. After School Clubs and Activities
International students enjoy a range of opportunities to participate in clubs and activities and many join sports teams. For those students wishing to play a musical instrument there is the possibility of musical instrument tuition plus the opportunity to play in one of the many performance groups.
Accommodation
International students live withhomestay families whoare carefully chosen by the Homestay Co-ordinator. Students have their own room and live as part of the family, eating meals together and often going on trips at the weekend. Living with a familyenables students to experience New Zealand way of life and practice their English in a family environment.
International Department
Long Bay College has an experienced team of staff in the International Department who look after students' pastoral and academic needs. The International Dean helps students to choose their subjects and monitors their academic progress during their time at the College. Staff can help with ensuring that students make the most of their time at the College and enjoy all the numerous opportunities on offer both during term time and the holidays.
