One of the benefits of an international education is to expand one's horizons not only in education, but also in understanding more about other cultures. In addition to being an English speaking nation, New Zealand's multi-cultural environment appealed to Julia Quattrociocchi from Bolton, Ontario. Accordingly, she chose to enrol for tertiary studies at Victoria Unviersity in Wellington. This is her story.

"I came to New Zealand at the beginning of July. I chose New Zealand because I felt it would give me a more culturally diverse sense than Australia (my initial choice), while still being an English speaking country.

'Kiwi's' (New Zealanders) are awesome people! I have been studying Music Therapy at school in Windsor. However, as they don't have a Music Therapy program here at Victoria I am taking my electives while I am in New Zealand. It is working out quite well as this has been a great time. I've also really enjoyed travelling round New Zealand like the great trip a group of us recently had to the South Island."
