Geos NZ becomes New Zealand Language Centres
Monday, 24 May 2010
The New Zealand branches of international English Language provider Geos have been sold and will now be called New Zealand Language Centres.
(via Language Travel Magazine) The three schools in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch were purchased by the former manager of the Geos Christchurch school, Justin Mastoyo.
After the unexpected closure of Geos schools around Australia, many prospective students were nervous about the fate of the New Zealand schools, but Mastoyo has confirmed that it is business as usual in New Zealand and the schools will continue to operate normally.
The administrative and teaching staff in the three schools have all been retained, so there has been no change in quality of services. He is optimistic that this is the beginning of a period of development and expansion for the schools in New Zealand.
