Follow the winners of the Chinese Student Blog competition as they tour New Zealand
Day 11 - The Final Day

The final day started with the students visiting AUT University's Akoranga campus on the North Shore where the students got to tour the AUT Fitness Centre and AUT's 'Golf Swing & Master/PHD Research Office'.

While there the students tried their hand at golf which for many of them was the first time they had ever swung a golf club. Although no Tiger Woods, there were a few that seemed to be naturals.

Next up it was a short drive to the Wellesley campus where the students were met by World TV. After a few quick interviews it was off to tour the rest of the campus including a stop at the Chinese Centre where the students had a chat with Pamela Miller the marketing manager at AUT.
Lunch was at the Truffle Restaurant which is part of the School of Hospitality, where the students where served by AUT students and had the opportunity to talk with some current AUT students from China.

Then it was time for some serious shopping for gifts and souvenirs. Then a quick meal before some emotional goodbyes as the students departed.

This was an amazing tour and Education New Zealand wishes to thanks all of the Institutions that took part, your hospitality was outstanding. And a huge thank you to the Student bloggers, we really appreciate your dedication to getting the most out of this tour and it has been a privilege to tour with you.
