WANG Ming (Karen)

Graduated from the Taylors Auckland Foundation Year June 2003 and currently studying Nursing at the Auckland University of Technology.

Leaving home and my parents for the first time 14 months ago to study in a country that I had never visited before was not easy.

When I arrived at Taylors College, the welfare staff ring my parents to tell them that I am at the College. My teachers always ask me questions and help me if have any problems. Everyone must speak English in class and many of my class become my good friends. We have many people from outside who come to our College to talk to about our studies and going to University. After someone come from Auckland University of Technology, I decided that I want to be a Nurse.

There are now four students from my class studying nursing at Auckland University of Technology and my other Taylors friends are studying at Auckland University.

I am very happy with Taylors College and thankful for the good teachers and facilities for us to study well.
