Priscila Machado left her home in Curitiba city in southern Brazil to study English in Queenstown.
Once a sales rep for a magazine company, Priscila is now one of Queenstown Resort College's first intake of Diploma of Hospitality Management students.
The Diploma course will provide the perfect grounding for Priscila who wants to one day open a small five star hotel or, with her interest in the wine industry, manage a wine house and restaurant.
The internationally recognised Diploma leaves doors wide open for her to follow whichever avenue she chooses while her work at the Heritage hotel will continue to develop her skills and experience.
