COURSE OVERVIEW:

Diploma of Hospitality Management: QRC delivers the Diploma of Hospitality Management in partnership with the International College of Management Sydney (ICMS) and Cesar Ritz Colleges of Switzerland. This is an international qualification, which provides international pathways to higher study and exciting careers throughout the world. The diploma focuses on hospitality management training, and has additional specialisations in International Day Spa Management, International Wine Tourism and Cellar Door Management, International Resort Management and Event Management.

Diploma of Adventure Tourism Management: This 2 year course (with an 18 month early completion opportunity) will prepare you for a career in managing adventure tourism businesses. The diploma includes a six month paid internship. Renowned as the adventure capital of the world, Queenstown is the best place to learn about adventure tourism. You will get to try some of the amazing adventure tourism activities in Queenstown as part of the course.

Uniqely Kiwi-Leadership Programme: This 4 week personal developmentprogramme willhelp you decide what to do after high school or university. Then through a mix of life coaching, personal development and challenging outdoor activities, you will gainthe confidence and skills you need to reach your goals. QRC's Uniquely Kiwi Leadership Programme is exhilarating, fun and personally fulfilling.

Internships - Tourism and Hospitality: The QRC Spirit of Queenstown Internship Programme is the ideal way to kick-start a working holiday. It's perfect as part of a gap year experience, or to completethe practical requirements of academic studies. Internships begin with 5 days of training and induction followed by a 12 week paid work placement in the tourism and hospitality industry.

English: A wide range of English language courses are available, including: General English, English for Tourism and English for International Business.

English for International Business: English language options for mature professionals who need to make rapid progress in English.

Executive Education: QRC offers the Executive Education Series for hospitality and tourism professionals, Custom Programmes and Corporate Retreats.

USEFUL INFORMATION:

Getting to Queenstown: Queenstown is well serviced by international flights from Sydney and Brisbane in Australia, and Christchurch and Auckland in New Zealand. Queenstown is only 50 minutes flying time from Christchurch and 1 hour and 40 minutes flying time from Auckland. When you arrive we will meet you at the airport and take you to your accommodation.

Accommodation: QRC offers a range of accommodation packages in the heart of Queenstown, from deluxe hotels with breathtaking views to shared accommodation in friendly apartments. Limited Home Guest options are also available.While you are studying at QRC, dedicated accommodation staff will manage your personal requirements and assist with all your needs.
