About FERN English Academy

FERN English Academy is a medium sized language school which is owned and operated by New Zealand Management Academies (NZMA), who has been providing tertiary training to students from New Zealand and around the world for the last 20 years. Together NZMA and FERN English offer a combination of English Language and practical Hospitality and Business courses including national qualifications up to Diploma level.

FERN provides courses in General English, IELTS Preparation and specialty courses in English for Business and English for Hospitality. These provide a fantastic opportunity for students to: (a) continue studying with NZMA at a diploma or certificate level; (b) move on to study at secondary school, University or Polytechnic; or (c) experience New Zealand while improving their English before returning home or travelling in New Zealand. www.fernenglish.co.nz

NZMA and FERN English are New Zealand Qualifications Authority accredited and in the highest category of Private Training Establishments in New Zealand - maintaining prestigious 3 year NZQA audit cycles. The companies have a combined staff of 110. NZMA is a member of Education New Zealand, Study Auckland, the Association of Language Travel Organisations (ALTO), WYSE Work Abroad and the WYSE Travel Confederation.

Location

NZMA Auckland Central Academy (ACA) and FERN English Academy are located together at 80 Anzac Avenue in the heart of Auckland City near Auckland University. This location is an easy 5 minute walk from the central bus and train station. ACA is a supportive environment for international students to study, with a specialised international Student Services Centre providing advice on a broad range of matters such as banking, accommodation, public transport, visa and insurance information.
