Coming to NZ a country far from mine, speaking another language, without knowing anyone, is one of the best experiences of my life. From my first day at Auckland Girls' Grammar School everyone was friendly and of course helped me a lot.
Before coming here, I was wondering so many things, such as if I was going to have friends, or if the school was going to be difficult, or if I could understand when people talked to me.
Fortunately, everything was great! I could make a very nice group of friends, the school wasn't difficult and well... the first weeks i couldn't understand everything when people talked to me, but after a month it was better, I could speak better and of course understand what people said.
What I most enjoyed in AGGS was to be in a multicultural school, that permitted me to know other cultures apart from the New Zealander. Also I loved playing Hockey for the school and my favourite subject was drama.
