AUT International Foundation Certificate offers guaranteed pathways to AUT University. The Programme takes 7 to 12 months with 3 starting dates per year: in January, April/May and August/ September.

Standard Entry
•An eight-month (two-trimester) foundation certificate for students with an English language level of IELTS 5.5 or equivalent
•Successful completion of the Certificate provides guaranteed entry to AUTUniversity and is accepted by all New Zealand universities

•Starting dates 2010:Monday 25January, Tuesday4 May & Tuesday 24 August
•Starting dates 2011:Monday24 January,Monday 2May & Tuesday30 August
Extended Entry
•A twelve-month programme
•The programme prepares students to enter the AUT International Foundation Certificate
•Designed for students who have IELTS5.0 and/or their academic record is below the minimum stated academic entry requirement
•Starting dates 2010:Monday 25January, Tuesday4 May & Tuesday 24 August
•Starting dates 2011:Monday24 January,Monday 2May & Tuesday30 August
Post Foundation
•Specifically designed for students who have completed Year 13 and or an approved New Zealand foundation programme and subject to approval of the Academic Registrar will complete4-month Post Foundation Programme to provide them with a guaranteed pathway to the Auckland University of Technology
