Nidhi Sharma came to Palmerston North UCOL from the Punjab in India, to study the National Diploma in Science. She started in 2007, and will graduate at the end of 2008.
She clearly loves her study, and is beaming smiles everywhere. She says, "It's pretty interesting, today we are doing lab experiments testing how much potassium is in a can of drink. It will be cool to work in a lab and do experiments for a job."
Nidhi says, "There are only eight or nine students in each class, so the lecturers talk to each of us individually. Being an international student, English is not my first language, and here they take the time with you if you have any thing you need to ask. You don't need to be shy if you need some help. They are very good."
