Established in 1989, Mahurangi Technical Institute has evolved to become Rodney's largest Private Training Establishment.

Training is conducted in the popular, boutique town of Warkworth.
Warkworth is on the doorstep of Auckland, yet lies just far enough away to allow one to relax and unwind. This busy town offers the best in up-market shopping, cafes and bars, with surf and sandy beaches only minutes away.

Our friendly, approachable tutors come from a mix of professional and industry experience, bringing you up to date knowledge from their various specialty subjects.

We offer a variety of courses to launch or advance your career, providing you with skills and qualifications that are nationally and/or internationally recognised and industry approved. We specialise in maritime and aquaculture education, but also offer courses in hospitality, and automotive as well as our distance learning Certificate in Companion Animal Services.

Mahurangi Technical Institute will help with any accommodation needs of the student. We also have a student bus service and offer airport transfers for students.
