Accommodation

We arrange home-stay accommodation with host families living in close proximity to the college.

Entry Times

We are able to enrol students for long term study to acquire formal NZ academic qualifications for entry to university or shorter periods(one to two terms)for students who wish to find cultural,social,language or travel experiences in New Zealand.

English Tuition

The ESOL department caters for a wide range of International Students.We have experienced teachers and bilingual teacher aide support in most classrooms.There isa significant EOTC (education utside the classroom) component for our ESOL programmes that helps ESOL students adapt quickly to the NZ lifestyle.Students can choose from a wide range of English classes that lead to recognised qualifications for their future careers.

The international section of the school website www.selwyn.school.nz has full information,including all fees and enrolment procedures together with application forms that can be downloaded,filled in and sent directly to Selwyn College.Parents and students are encouraged to contact the school and will be sent a prospectus.Tuition fees for 2010 and 2011 are $13,500.00 and home-stay accommodation is $210.00 per week plus a homestay placement fee of $250.00.
