Guan Wang

Wang Guan was born in China and hope one day to become a policewoman. She is presently learning English in Auckland, at New Zealand School of Business and Technology.

She came to New Zealand on the advice of friends who told her it is a very clean, unspoilt country and has very good language schools. She has not been disappointed. There are lots of parks and beautiful beaches near Auckland and she often goes for walks or organises a barbeque with friends. Her favourite place in Auckland is Mission Bay because she loves sitting and chatting with friends in the bars and cafes by the beach and enjoys looking at the views of Auckland harbour.

She finds that people in New Zealand are friendly and helpful and she is really happy with her teacher who gives her a lot of personal attention. When she finishes her course with New Zealand School of Business and Technology she wants to go on to study at University in Auckland. If she can go back to China with a New Zealand qualification and a high level of English, she is sure there will be a lot of opportunities waiting for her.
