Ghanzafar Abbas has traveled considerably around the world, meeting people and making a significant contribution to the future of our world. Currently working in Iraq introducing agricultural machinery, organising training courses, and developing infrastructure for the maintenance of aged tractors and combine harvesters, Ghanzafar’s work is focused on building and supporting the peoples of the world.

With a degree from the University of Agriculture Faisalabad, and 12 years in the private tractor manufacturing industry, Ghanzafar took the opportunity to further his post-graduate education in New Zealand in 1992.

His study at Massey University, culminating in a Ph D investigating "no tillage" solutions for planting, has given him the base for his incredibly valuable vocation. New Zealand has pioneered the development of the user friendly and environmentally cleaner Conservation Tillage Technology – and from his study, Ghanzafar is able to apply this leading technology as part of his work in Iraq for the United Nations.

With such a dedication to improve our world environment, it is accreditation in itself that, Ghanzafar describes his time in New Zealand simply as "Excellent - Heaven on earth."
