"I came to New Zealand to learn English and I chose Christchurch because one friend of mine had been here and she showed me a lot of photos of the city and the way she talked about it, I could see that she liked it a lot.

Now I've been here for a little over a year and I agree with her.! It's a beautiful place and people are very friendly. I love sports so I like Hagley Park which has places to practise sports, like soccer, frisbee and tennis. It's beautiful in the Springtime. I also like this city of gardens because it's a flat city and you can ride a bicycle easily!

The school I think is great because there are people from different parts of the world, You can learn English and get to know about different cultures at the same time.

My afternoon teacher is great. Her name is Louise. The afternoon is more relaxed, the idea is to learn with fun. There is more speaking and listening.

In the morning, we can improve our grammar skills and our writing. For example today, we studied how to create a narrative in the past using present participles and the past continuous.
