Daniela decided to improve her English to achieve her goal of getting a full-time job in her field of Environmental Engineering. When she came to Canterbury College, her strengths were Listening, Writing and Reading, so she wanted to work on her Speaking and Pronunciation.
Daniela chose a mornings only course in General English. Her classmates in the Upper Intermediate level were: one Brazilian, an Ethopian, one German, a Korean and a Japanese. With no one who spoke her own language (Spanish) Daniela had the maximum opportunity and motivation to express herself in English and her Speaking has been improving rapidly.
