Surrounded by glorious coastline, lush farmland and superb surf beaches, it offers plenty of excitement.

Swimming, sailing, surfing, canoeing, lying in the sun on the beach, tramping and bicycling are just some of the activities you'll be able to enjoy on our uncrowded beaches, in our clean ocean waters, natural rain forests, lakes and mountain ranges.

Tauranga is home to New Zealand's largest export port and the city has a full range of restaurants, cafes, parks, reserves, bush walks, sports clubs, shopping malls and entertainment for your leisure and pleasure.
