James Hargest College

We extend a warm welcome to students from all over the world, and appreciate the cultural diversity and richness they bring to James Hargest College.

Hargest is a friendly, busy place with a strong sense of belonging, where staff and students work very well together. We maintain traditional values and have high expectations of both behaviour and work ethic. This is all provided on two well developed, contemporary campuses with superb facilities.

We offer a wide range of academic study course, (including a number of languages) with a long tradition of excellence at the highest levels. We also have particularly strong music, cultural and sporting programmes which encourage students to become involved in many new experiences.

Hargest has an exceptional Outdoor Recreation Programme which offers students the opportunity to participate in activities such as Caving, First Aid, Kayaking, Mountain Biking, Orienteering, Risk Management, Rock Climbing, Skiing and Snowboarding and Tramping, to name just a few.
