The city of New Plymouth skirts the coast of the Taranaki Peninsula with swimming, surfing, sailing, parks within an easy 10 minute walk of the school. Within 30 minutes New Plymouth also provides snowboarding, skiing or tramping. New Plymouth has a national Airport where students can fly direct from most major centres around New Zealand. New Plymouth is a 45 minute flight from Auckland and Wellington.
