Taking Creative Learning Back to Malaysia
Jing Ping Gan had an opportunity to experience two different New Zealand communities during his study with UCOL.
His first year of study for a Diploma in Visual Arts was at UCOL’s Palmerston North campus and the second at Masterton UCOL, both in the lower North Island. His work was exhibited in Masterton with other final year students.
Jing Ping Gan is now back in Malaysia where he is helping with his father’s business and running art workshops to pass on what he learnt in New Zealand.

Wairarapa is close to Wellington, and a popular place for fishing, surfing, cycling and wine tours.
