Although most classes will comprise of at least 80% New Zealand students, international students are welcomed and made to feel completely at home.

In recent times Media Design School has welcomed students from USA, Germany, Holland, United Kingdom, Russia, Thailand, Taiwan the Philippines, China, Indonesia, India, Hungary, Fiji, Brunei, Korea, Mexico, Jordan, and South Africa.

The school is a signatory to the New Zealand Ministry of Education Code of Practice for the Recruitment, Welfare and Support of International Students.

Comprehensive Facilities

Media Design School is an urban school in the heart of Auckland City. The school is located over three complete floors in a modern high-rise, above the shopping and commerce centre of Auckland.

Media Design School offers 9 computer labs (Mac and PC) equipped with highly specified computers and two workrooms as well as three digital video edit suites. The school generally teaches the latest versions of software, as recommended by industry.

Students have a dedicated computer during class lab and have access to computers in the student labs. Students studying at the school are provided access to a range of loan equipment for external use, including a comprehensive library of reference books, videos and CD-Roms, digital still and digital video cameras, scanners and CD Burners.
