Whangaparaoa College is a large secondary school on the Whangaparaoa Peninsula on the outskirts of Auckland, New Zealand. The college is close to beaches and nature reserves as well as having the attractions of being in New Zealand's largest city. Whangaparaoa College opened in 2005 and has grown into a large Year 7-13 secondary college. It has the most modern facilities of any school in New Zealand, which allows us to deliver an innovative and challenging curriculum. In addition to a high-class education, there are many leisure activities to experience including golf, swimming and sailing.

- A space dedicated to International Students
- An outstanding Performing Arts Centre incorporating drama and music rooms and a large modern performing space
- A specialist recording studio
- A well-equipped sports centre,whichhasa large gymnasium as well as a number of other teaching spaces, including a fitness centre

- A specific teaching block for Year 7 & 8 learners

Whangaparaoa College is proud of its innovative and challenging curriculum. All learners participate in a learning programme, which as well as covering the national curriculum, develops those essential skills required of 21st century learners. ICT is integrated into all learning programmes.

There are also many co-corricular opportunities at the college such as:
Outdoor education, e.g. camps.
Sport - the college has a wide range of sports programmes, including athletics, rugby, soccer, basketball, netball and golf and tennis academies with specialist coaching. A specialist Sports Institute operates for those learners with special skills in sports.
Culture - drama, music and dance. The college has outstanding facilities for the delivery of the performing arts. Individual music tuition is available.
Other - computer club, equestrian events, chess club, swimming, golfing, kayaking, surfing, skiing, sailing and horse-riding.

Speaking fluent English is not necessary, as all International Students will be tested on arrival and placed appropriately.

Tuition Fee (Per Term): NZ$ 2,875.00 (incl GST)
Homestay Fee: NZ$ 240.00 per week
Additional costs not covered b annual tuition fee include:

- Travel to, from and within New Zealand

- NZQA examination fees, including NCEA exam fees
// Homestay
The College can arrange homestay accommodation for International Students if required. Homestay fees are approximately NZ$ 240.00 per week. Homestay fees are payable in advance to the college and they will then be disbursed to the homestay family.
