Kiwis place second in international architecture competition

The second prize in The International Competition of Architecture Projects, organized by the “Ion Mincu” Architecture and Urbanism University of Bucharest (UAUIM) and Lafarge Romania was won by the team Sonia Jou-Ya and Kevin Pang-Hsin, both students of the University of Auckland.
First prize in the competition was won by Aisling O’ Carroll, a student at the University of Waterloo in Canada.
The second edition of the International Competition of Architecture Projects, with the subject “Present: The Challenges of Architecture,” was organized in cooperation with the European Association of Architecture Schools (AEEA). 86 works were sent for the preliminary stage of the competition, 22 of which were selected by the jury for the final competition.
