English for High School

The English for High School Program is designed for students who want to enter Cornell High School or other high schools in New Zealand. The course assists students to become effective communicators in the English language and has specific outcomes in relation to reading, writing, speaking and listening. The course develops students� language skills and vocabulary in relation to likely academic areas such as Mathematics, Economics, Business Studies, Computing and Geography. The course also provides students with an understanding of various aspects of New Zealand�s culture and its academic expectations and requirements.
