Foundation Year is a very accepting place people are friendly and you feel as if you are a part of Foundation Year. Teachers and students look out for you. The course is good. It is definitely worth taking as it gives you a big advantage at university, even over the Kiwi students. It goes over all the basic information you need to do well at university. The teachers care about us getting good marks. They get to know each student personally. The activities offered every Friday and the holiday trips - to the beach, ice skating, chocolate factory tours they keep you from getting homesick. People are friendly and there are many groups to meet up with. Friends encourage me to study and to have fun as well. Dunedin is a nice place to live It is not too quiet but its not too loud either. It is a small city. You walk down the main street and always see people you know. I would definitely recommend that you study here it gives you the best of both worlds - a good education and a friendly environment.
