Information for Prospective students
NZSA membership, valid for two years, will be recognised by the issuance of a branded Accreditation Certificate to the agency, with individual owners, managers and counsellors from the Agency who attend and pass the multiple choice workshop test receiving a Participation Certificate.
Membership will be granted to an Agency and its same country branches only (but not other country branches, subagents or franchises) when:
1. Achieve a certain level of performance in terms of Quality and quantity of students sent to New Zealand as per the country specific criteria.
2. Each of its personnel attending the training workshop has successfully passed the multiple choice test after attending the full day training. A pass is awarded to scores of 75% or higher.
3. The Agent’s owner has signed the agency agreement.
4. ENZ has received all 3 NZ education institution references, and deemed that they are satisfactory.
Education New Zealand defines Accreditation as:
“Before a specialist agent is accredited he or she undertakes training by Education New Zealand and is tested on the matters covered. Specialist agents are required to act in accordance with Education New Zealand’s Code of Conduct for specialist agents and also must agree to adhere to the policies and procedures of Education New Zealand and the New Zealand Ministry of Education Code of Practice for the Pastoral Care of International Students”.
Accreditation does not authorise the agent to make any representation on behalf of Education New Zealand or to enter any agreement or undertaking on its behalf.”
