Thursday, 25 March 2010
The Southern Institute of Technology (SIT) in Invercargill, New Zealand is offering free English classes to Chinese student who enroll in a full course of study.
This special offer will include up to 24 weeks of English tuition to help students improve their English. This trial is available only to students from China, but if it is successful it may be offered to students in other countries.
100 places are available under the offer.
SIT says they are hoping to attract the attention of Chinese student with this offer, who may not have thought about coming to Invercargill. The small city (population 55,000) is at the southern end of New Zealand, and is often overlooked in favour of larger destinations like Auckland and Christchurch.
