Ryo Morizono

Ryo Morizono wanted to study the New Zealand language so he chose New Zealand, and specifically Massey University's English Language Centre. Now he tells his own story in English, and in considerable detail.

"New Zealand is the best country to study English! I really recommend you study English in New Zealand. Here are some reasons to support my opinion.

"New Zealand is a small country compared with other countries where English is spoken like Britain, the US or Australia. This means there is a good environment for studying in New Zealand. The big cities like New York, London or Sydney are full of allurements (distractions) but cities in New Zealand do not have them so much.

"Studying abroad is not free, it costs a lot of money.... Prices in the USA or Britain are very high at the present, so if you want to study economically, New Zealand is the best country for you.

"The lifestyle of New Zealand is completely different for people who are from eastern countries. You will know about the 'Kiwi style' when you stay with a New Zealand family. New Zealand host families are really friendly and they let you know about New Zealand very much. They will be like your real family. Kiwi students are really friendly too they are interested in your home country. They really want you to tell them about the cultures and customs of your country. The easiest way to make friends is by taking part in clubs and events. You will be able to have fun with Kiwis or people from the other countries through your interests. These activities will be good chances to get in touch with Kiwis.

"You will be able to concentrate on your studies. I really want you to enjoy your life in New Zealand 'Kiwis are waiting for you!'"

Ryo has now returned to Japan and is studying Law. Travel along with his other passion, soccer is still a significant part of his life!
