I decided to study in New Zealand because it is closer to Indonesia than other English speaking countries such as Canada and the USA. New Zealand has a good reputation in the international market as a beautiful country, clean and green environment. There are not many Indonesian students who come to New Zealand to study. The living cost is slightly cheaper than living in Australia.

I studied in Palmerston North. While studying at MUELC I enjoyed meeting people from different backgrounds.

I have found a job in New Zealand and I now work as part of the team in the International Students' Office at Massey University.

The highlights of my stay in New Zealand would be passing IELTS, studying at Massey University and graduating from Massey University

In New Zealand I enjoy travelling, fishing and pot luck parties

If you are coming to New Zealand, don't have high expectations of yourself. You are in a new culture and things will be different to what you are used too. Don't expect to learn English quickly it takes a long time to become fluent in speaking, reading, writing and listening.
