I chose New Zealand as a study destination because a friend of mine, a kiwi, recommended it and said, "You can study not only British, but also American English".

I am studying in Palmerston North. What I have enjoyed most about my course is learning different country's cultures and conversation with people from other countries.

A highlight of my stay in New Zealand is homestay. My household is kind and speak to me a lot. When I have free time, I am playing games with the kids. Another activity I enjoy is playing soccer after school every Friday.

I was anxious about my life in New Zealand, when I first came here. This was because I couldn't speak English very well, but once I arrived, the worry was gone because my friends, teacher and homestay family helped me when I was in trouble. So what I'm saying is, "don't be afraid of going abroad", you can accustom yourself to New Zealand life without knowing it.
