Jimmy Choo at Education Zealand’s Malaysian fashion competition

Legendary Malaysian shoe designer Jimmy Choo fronted up for Education New Zealand’s Virtual Re-Start Fashion Competition in Kuala Lumpur which featured budding fashion talent from New Zealand and Malaysia.
Christchurch Polytechnic Institute of Technology (CPIT) fashion graduates, with their Malaysian counterparts from Raffles College and the Malaysian Institute of Arts, won first and second prize.
As well as CPIT, students from Massey University, Otago Polytechnic, Bay of Plenty Polytechnic, Whitieria Community Polytechnic and WINTEC took part. They worked ‘virtually’ in pairs with their Malaysian counterparts to create four distinct outfits.
New Zealand’s fashion and apparel industry is seen as offering unique, innovative design and has a reputation for high quality.
