Follow the winners of the Chinese Student Blog competition as they tour New Zealand
Day 5
Day 5 started with a trip to Canterbury University and a short presentation from Julie Allen. Then it was off to visit the impressive HIT Lab (Human Interface Technology), where the students got to experience a full 3D interactive tour of a fighter pland and be wowed by the Cellphone tennis game being developed. The students even got to see Canterbury Universities 'Super Computer'.
Next off was lunch and a chance for students to interact with Chinese students already studying at Canterbury University.
Then it was free time in Christchurch where some of the students explored the 'Botanic Gardens' while other explored the Cathedral.
After this the students flew to Queenstown and were treated to breath-taking scenery as there was a fresh dusting of snow on the hills.
Then dinner at the Captians next to a lovely open fire.
