ENZ was established on 1 September 2011 to undertake representation and promotional efforts for international education on behalf of the New Zealand Government.
Education New Zealand is a Crown agency funded by the New Zealand Government and led by a Board of Directors
appointed by the Minister responsible for International Education. The agency has a team of staff based in New Zealand
and countries offshore. Education New Zealand gives effect to the Government’s vision, goals and objectives for
international education.
