The Diploma in Professional Accountancy is designed to provide a pathway for graduates with a bachelors degree in accounting, or equivalent, to undertake further study to complete the academic requirements of the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants (NZICA).
The diploma focuses primarily on advanced knowledge and technical skills in accounting.
If you do not meet the prerequisite requirements you may need to complete more than 120 credits, and may take longer than one year, to be eligible to receive this diploma.

- Certificate in English (Advanced), or
- Certificate in English for Academic Studies, or
- Certificate in English for Business and Computing Studies, or
- Certificate in Intensive English (Advanced); or equivalent.
