ENGLISH LANGUAGE TRAINING AND UNIVERSITY PREPARATION

ACG English School: One of New Zealand’s leading language schools, situated in the heart of Auckland City, with a focus on English language preparation for academic study. The school offers year-round courses: Intensive Academic English and Intensive IELTS Preparation. ACG English School students have guaranteed entry to the University of Auckland Certificate in Foundation Studies, the AUT International Foundation Certificate and all ACG high schools. In addition to lessons, tutorials and coaching sessions are available to support learning, while the tutor system ensures that each student is given close individual attention. The University of Auckland Certificate in Foundation Studies: The Certificate in Foundation Studies guarantees entry into The University of
Auckland and is accepted by all New Zealand universities. Standard Entry (12 months) and Extended Entry (18 months) start in late January or mid-July, while Fast Track Entry (8/9 months) is available in April and October. The programme offers a choice of subjects, including Accounting, Economics, Calculus, Statistics, Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Design, Photography, Painting and Music. A special programme of IELTS Examination Preparation and Study & Information Skills prepares students for study at university.

AUT International Foundation Certificate: The AUT International Foundation Certificate provides focus in four specialist areas and offers a wide range of subjects, including English, Tertiary Study Skills, Introduction to New Zealand Culture and Society, Accounting, Economics, History, Design, Drawing, Mathematics, Statistics, Chemistry, Biology and Electromechanics. The Foundation Certificate guarantees entry into AUT University and is accepted by all New Zealand universities. There are three starting dates per year in January, May and August. Course length ranges from 8 months (Standard Entry) to 12 or 16 months (Extended Entry), depending on the student’s academic background and level of English. The curriculum includes core training in English and independent
learning skills.

NEW ZEALAND PRIMARY, MIDDLE AND SENIOR SCHOOL PROGRAMMES
All ACG Schools offer the University of Cambridge International Examinations: IGCSE, AS and A-Levels. These qualifications are internationally recognised and accepted by respected universities worldwide.

ACG Parnell College:Primary > School > College
ACG Parnell College is located in Parnell, an inner-city area of Auckland. The stunning purpose-built campus lies next to the Domain, Auckland’s largest park. The premises include a wide range of specialist facilities, including a gymnasium, a large library and cafeteria, sophisticated art, technology and computer rooms, drama and music rooms and laboratories. The School makes full use of its excellent location with nearby facilities, such as the Parnell Tennis Club and Newmarket Olympic Swimming Pools. A wide range of team sports are offered, including basketball, cricket, waterpolo, soccer, netball and tennis. English language support is available to international students.

ACG Senior College:Senior School: Years 11 to 13
ACG Senior College is among New Zealand’s top academic schools. From its beginning in 1995 as New Zealand’s only specialist pre-university centre, the School has become a focus for exceptional educational success. It has consistently ranked as the top co-educational high school in the country. In the two most recent University of Cambridge International Examinations, a total of 17 “Top in the World” and 37 “Top in New Zealand” subject awards were gained. ACG Sunderland is well situated in Auckland’s western suburbs and offers comprehensive education from Years 1 to 13. A spacious and well-equipped campus adjacent to excellent facilities, such as the Westwave Aquatic Centre and The Trusts Stadium.

Australian International School (AIS)in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam
AIS provides a continuous educational path, from Kindergarten to Senior School. The School offers international curricula, including the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (PYP), the Middle Years Programme (MYP) in Years 6 to 10, the University of Cambridge International AS and A Levels in Years 11 and 12 and the University of New South Wales Foundation Studies Year 12 Curriculum. The School provides an English language immersion programme to non-English speaking students.
