Integration with the creative industries is one of the cornerstones of Media Design School. In addition to the various creative industry panels (per course) that moderate curriculum, grade and give feedback on student work, there are a large number of companies that the school work with in supplying live creative briefs for students.

Students learn using the most up-to-date versions of industry software and technology, in close consultation with industry leaders and experts, and have access to dedicated computer labs during and after-hours. The school also has a comprehensive library of books and loan equipment such as digital and still video cameras, DVD's and CD's.
