Fern School of English

Fern provides courses in General English, IELTS Preparation and specialty courses in English for Business and English for Hospitality.These provide a fantastic opportunity for students to: (a) continue studying with NZMA’s School of Business and Hospitality Management at a diploma or certificate level; (b) move on to study at secondary school, University or Polytechnic; or (c) experience New Zealand while improving their English before returning home or travelling in New Zealand. www.fernenglish.ac.nz

Employment Placement Company

Redfish is a specialised employment service that focuses on helping NZMA students and graduates find their ideal career – free of charge. Redfish offer everything from guidance in CV writing and interview skills, to promoting you for exciting employment opportunities. Redfish ensures that students are not only competent but also “work ready”. This service is free of charge to all NZMA’s School of Business and Hospitality Management Diploma level students and Fern English students studying full time for 12 weeks or more (conditions apply). www.redfish.co.nz

Realistic Industry Based Training

NZMA has practical course content combined with realistic training. NZMA tutors are all industry experts who have worked in their respective fields for many years. NZMA hosts an on-site fully operational café and bars allowing students to receive quality practical training in state-of-the-art modern facilities.Having this fully operating café allows all NZMA students access to heavily subsidized hot meals and drinks. www.nzma.ac.nz

Multi-lingual Student Services Centre

NZMA has a multi-lingual Student Services team providing guidance on a broad range of matters such as banking, accommodation, public transport, visa and insurance information. NZMA’s School of Business and Hospitality Management diploma students can apply for online student permits and 12-month graduate work permits through the Student Services Centre which has an Online Visa agreement with the New Zealand Immigration Service.

Library and Cyber Suite

NZMA’s School of Business and Hospitality Management and Fern English students have access to the Library, providing a quiet environment for study or just to read the local newspaper. The Cyber Suite is available for students to complete class assignments and stay in touch with friends and family through FREE access to the internet.

Student Lounge

The Student Lounge is located in a unique area, on the 6^th floor roof top garden. There are many exciting features located in the lounge including a pool table and “chill out” area which is perfect for mixing and meeting other students.
