Location: Penrose, Auckland.

Penrose is located about 10 minutes' drive from down-town Auckland - close enough to get to the city quickly, but far enough away to find good, well-priced accommodation and a more friendly, relaxed atmosphere. The college is conveniently located near to bus stops, a train station and the main motorway into the city.

English Courses:

  • Pre-Intermediate to Advanced Levels
  • From 4 weeks to 20 weeks
  • Part-time, full-time (20 hours/week) or intensive (up to 40 hours/week)
  • English Plus Courses designed for business-people, teachers and for those who want to experience New Zealand.

Business Courses:

  • Certificate of Computing - Part-time introduction to the use of the personal computer for business, study or entertainment.
  • Certificate of Business - 1-year full-time certificate course based on the first half of the New Zealand Diploma in Business
  • New Zealand Diploma in Business. This is excellent preparation for business and for further business study at university level.

Bible Courses:

  • Certificate in Christian Studies, 60 credits, Level 4 - Part-time
  • Certificate in Christian Ministries, 120 credits, Level 4 - Part-time or 1-year full-time
  • Diploma in Christian Ministries, 120 credits, Level 5 - 1-year full-time
  • Diploma in Christian Leadership, 120 credits, Level 6 - 1-year full-time

Career Planning Course:

This course helps students investigate career options and plan their career with expert assistance. Students learn how to market themselves and understand the employment process from the viewpoint of the employer. They learn key interpersonal skills that will greatly enhance their performance at job interviews and their value to their employer. The standard course is 12 weeks. The certificate course can be completed in 20 weeks.

Accommodation:

Home-stay accommodation is recommended for international English students as it provides the best possible environment for learning English.

We can arrange home-stay accommodation near the college for approximately $200 per week including breakfast and evening meals. We can also help you find alternative accommodation.

Other Services:

  • We help international students settle in to life in New Zealand and help them to meet New Zealanders.
  • We provide information, advice and assistance with travel bookings to help students experience New Zealand activities and see our beautiful country.
