Founded in 1896, St Hida's Collegiate School has grown into a successful and progressive institution. Promoting Christian values and academic excellence the school has provided an education to generations of girls from Dunedin and the Otago region. Over 70% of St Hilda's students go on to university and other tertiary courses.
Today, St Hilda's is a modern Year 7 to 13 school for over 400 girls. It retains close links with the Anglican Church and welcomes students from any background.
Location
St Hilda's Collegiate School is located on Cobden Street within the heart of Dunedin City, the home of the internationally renowned University of Otago. Dunedin is a small but vibrant city recognised for its excellent educational institutions, cultural, arts, sporting and leisure opportunities.

Study Options
The academic programme offered to our international students is co-ordinated by the Dean of International Students and the Director of International Students.
Every international student's level of English language is assessed on arrival at St. Hilda's, and an appropriate course of study is designed for her. Academic progress is regularly assessed.

The English Language Support Programme
ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) is taught to small groups and individual stdents. In class assistance is arranged for student if required in other curriculum areas.
Classes are also available for girls wishing to sit international English examinations or university entrance requirements.
Accommodation
As an international student at St Hilda's we ensure that you have a caring and homely environment to live in which is carefully chosen by our Director of International Students. You will stay with a host family. Sometimes there may be a limited of number of places available at our school hostel, Tolcarne Boarding Residence.

School administration fee: $300
Homestay fees (48 weeks): $9,600
Homestay administration fee: $720
Insurance: $600
Disbursement Fee: $1,500
The disbursement fee is used for costs relating to stationery, examination fees, school activities etc.
