Academic Year
Students can enrol for a full year from the end of January to December or for a part year course.
Academic Proramme
A wide range of courses are available with students being able to work towards National qualifications depending on English ability. High quality English language tuition is offered in speaking English both with a tutor and through an immersion focus. Students are encourged to sit Pitmans and IELTS exams. Each course is individually developed to suit the student.
Recreation, Sporting and Culture
The school community offers cricket, swimming, rugby, netball, squash and a wide range of sports during the lunch hour. There are tramps and outdoor camps including skiing throughout the year that international students can join. Specialised tuition is available in a range of musical instruments and students can join the kapa haka group to learn maori culture and dance. Milton is located close to the resort of Queenstown and the beauty and wildness of the Otago coastline
Accommodation
Homestay families are carefully seleced and provide a high standard of care with all being assessed to Ministry of Education Code of Practice standard. The International Student Co-ordinator maintains contact with international students to lookafter their welfare.
