Cashmere High School
Cashmere High School is a co-educational state secondary school with a roll of 1700 local students and 50-70 international students. It is situated in beautiful Christchurch, the heart of New Zealand's South Island. The school is well known throughout New Zealand for academic excellence and its arts and music programmes.

Cashmere High School offers its students a very wide variety of subjects and activities in a caring, supportive, secondary school learning environment. It is proud of the sense of community among staff and students, and this is reflected in its record of academic, sporting and cultural successes. Cashmere High School has a broad subject base available. An intensive English language programme is available for students without the English ability to manage in mainstream subjects.
Facilities
There are a number of playing fields and tennis/netball courts available for sports. A brand new gymnasium with an international size basketball court will be completed in January 2011. There is a well resourced library and several very up to date computer suites.

Music groups are dependent on student numbers and student interest.
