CCEL (Christchurch College of English Ltd) is a private owner-operated language school located on the University of Canterbury campus in Christchurch.

CCEL offersquality English tuition within a campus environment. CCEL works in partnership with the University of Canterbury and our students have access to University facilities such as libraries, sports facilities and cafeterias. Students can also transfer from CCEL to the University without taking IELTS.
CCEL offers a range of English courses including GeneralEnglish, Business English, IELTS preparation and Cambridge exam preparation. We offer TESOL courses for native and non-native English speakers. We also specialise in group study tour programmes, and welcome over 30 groups to Christchurch each year.
CCEL offers a range of accommodation options including homestay in Walking Zone or Bus Zone, and UC campus residence accommodation. There is also an exciting and comprehensive activities programme which enables students to experience the New Zealand environment and make friends.
CCEL has been teaching English to international students for almost 20 years. Our experience helps students to improve their English and enjoy a unique study abroad experience.
