Improve Your English - and Have Fun Doing It!
Our English language school has well qualified, experienced and friendly teachers who will help you improve your English. Our small class sizes mean that you get the extra attention you need to succeed. As well as all the options you would expect from a good English language school, including helping you to prepare for future study, you will also experience cultural and leisure activities so that learning English is interesting and fun!
You will interact with New Zealand students. This gives you a lot of opportunities to use your English with native speakers, learn about the New Zealand lifestyle and make friends.
Quality Courses and Options for Academic Study
WITT has a range of different study options so that we can cater for different levels and needs. A feature of our courses is the work experience you gain while studying. For example, our journalism students get articles published in New Zealand newspapers and our computer graphic students help design company websites. This valuable work experience while studying impresses employers and helps our graduates find the jobs they want.
University Links
WITT has strong links with New Zealand universities and you may be able to do papers at WITT that cross-credit towards a degree at University. Our smaller class sizes and the support we provide can help you make the transition to university study.
Support Services
International support staff offer assistance to international students. Support prior to arrival includes course applications and enrolments, permits and visas, medical and health insurance and travel arrangements. We also offersupport after arrival with airport pick-ups, accommodation support, pastoral care, cultural and personal support and many opportunities to join in various events and experience New Zealand life. The staff at our International Students' Office will do everything they can to make sure your stay in New Zealand is an enjoyable and a successful one.
Accommodation
WITT's on-site acommodation block isapartment-style living, conveniently located on campus. This accommodation offers secure, modern facilities and live-in management available at all times. A range of domestic and international students live on-site, offering great immersion language opportunities for those wanting to practise their English. The acomodation block is two minutes walk to classes, five minutes to town and ten minutes to the beach. WITT on-site accomodation prices range from $100 - $125 per week.
Homestay accommodation is also available and offers a caring family-orientated environment, which can ease the adjustment of living in a new country. Homestay includes 3 meals each day, and includes a private bedroom, study facilities, bed linen, towels, and laundry facilities. Homestay accomodation has a cost of $199.50 pw.
