Lan Chao

I like living in New Zealand I have been at St John's College in Hamilton for two years. This is a lovely school with lots of new buildings.

This year I am studying: Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Accounting and Economics. I also have special English classes (ESOL) where I am preparing to sit IELTS examination. Eventually I will go to Waikato University. I want to be a buisnessman.

My homestay family live on a farm. They have many animals. There is a stream behind their house, where I can fish. There are many eels in the stream. I specially like living in the Waikato. There are many beautiful trees, sheep and cows.

Every year in April the hot air balloons come to Hamilton Lake and they land beside the lake. they are so beautiful because they are like big glowing lamps in the night sky.

I have made lots of friends at school. Even though I come from China, I am not lonely. I have lots of friends from around the world in my school. I like to play tennis with the kiwi students. This is such fun.

New Zealand is the best!
