Nguyen Thi Thanh Huong

When I decided to take the opportunity to study overseas, New Zealand and VUW were the first choice on my list. New Zealand is renowned for being a beautiful country with friendly people, and Victoria University is internationally recognised as a tertiary institution focused on academic excellence.
 
I have been in Wellington for more than three years, during this time I have completed a Bachelor of Commerce and Administration degree and the Honours programme at VUW. I have now started my PhD in Human Resource Management funded by a VUW scholarship. I expect my degrees from Victoria, an institution with world-class research record, will open up new international career opportunities for me in the world.
 
Victoria has never failed my expectations. My time here has been very enjoyable and valuable. I have received a quality education, achieved academic successes, been employed as a tutor and made great friends.  Courses at Victoria have been both challenging and practical enabling me to learn to think critically and creatively. I also developed professionally and personally as a result of the academic challenges and the opportunities to engage in teamwork. All the Victoria staff that I have met through my study and work are helpful and approachable.
