Certificate in Business (Introductory)

Do you want to learn more about business? The Certificate in Business (Introductory) provides you with an introduction to business study and acts as a pathway to higher-level business qualifications such as the New Zealand Diploma in Business or the Bachelor of Business.

Gain an introduction to the principles and practices of general business in real-world settings. Develop knowledge and skills related to business disciplines, and build your self confidence and motivation.

Further your communication, teamwork and self-management skills, and improve your ability to solve problems and communicate effectively.

The programme has a strong practical focus, and you'll learn from lecturers with extensive industry experience. Each student will have a personal mentor.

Classes are held during the day.

Duration:                                                                                                                                                                        Full-time for one semester

English language:                                                                                                                                                Applicants must have an overall IELTS band score (Academic) of at least 5.5 (with no band score lower than 5.0), or a TOEFL score of no less than 525, or equivalent; or must have an appropriate Unitec English language qualification, such as the Certificate in Intensive English (Upper Intermediate), or equivalent.
